Lenoir, NC April 20-22, 2018 - Director Profile

Kiersten Marie Gabrielle Tanopo

Kiersten has been performing in the Theater since she was 11 years old. She first stepped onto the stage for productions such as “You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown”, “Bye Bye Birdie”, “Dracula”, and “Little Shop Of Horrors”. As her love for the theater grew, so did her love for the exciting production aspect. Kiersten attended college at Cal Poly Pomona and she majored in Theater Arts where she continued acting onstage as well as directing, writing, and stage managing. As soon as she graduated in 2012, she was fortunate enough to find a job similar to Theater Production in the Dance Industry with Kids Artistic Revue and Rainbow National Dance Competition. She started as a Merchandise Associate 6 years ago and has worked her way to her current position as a National Director for the company. Along with being a Director for KAR and Rainbow, she is also a director for the KAR Dance Convention. For the past 4 years, she has proudly been a part of the Industry Dance Awards taking the title of Associate Producer. In 2017, she was ecstatic to be a part of the first Rainbow Australia tour and plans to go return this coming year. Her favorite part about working for KAR and Rainbow is being a member of the Dancers Against Cancer Foundation. Her ultimate goal while on tour is to raise awareness about this amazing foundation and help as much as she can for those in need. Kiersten’s passion lies in creating magical experiences for all the dancers and families she encounters, all while traveling the world.
