Kevin Nguyen was born in Iowa and raised in Chicago, where his interest in dance and entertainment started. He started his dance career when he moved to California in 2005 and joined Chaparral High School's all male dance team, Agi-lity. Kevin trained heavily with the Temecula Dance Company and Formality under the direction of Erik Saradpon. He furthered his training with Urban FX, and Super Galactic Beat Manipulators. Kevin is happy to call Cookies (formerly known as Choreo Cookies) home. Cookies is considered one of Southern California's best hip hop dance teams, having placed at many competitions such as World of Dance and Body Rock dance competition. Most recently, Kevin was featured in a Android watch commercial and as a principal dancer for Fox’s hit TV show, “X Factor.” Kevin has worked with JIVE Records artist Jawan Harris, Pharrell Williams, Kwanza Jones, Korean Pop Artists B1A4, 2PM, JYP, and Trouble Maker. In addition to his industry work, he teaches classes at Artistic Dance Academy and Studio FX. He believes that there is always something new to discover in the world of dance, and that one must never stop growing. Kevin hopes to continue working in the industry, while also traveling the world to teach and inspire dancers everywhere.
