Matthew is a native of California. As a young dancer in the Central Valley, he trained with some of the top leaders in the dance industry. He continued his early dance education at Interlochen Dance Academy in Michigan. After graduating, Matthew moved to New York to attend college and follow his dreams of being on the Great White Way – Broadway! He performed in many regional musical productions and toured Europe for many years with Hair, Grease and West Side Story. His greatest accomplishment was achieved when he was able to join the cast of Fosse on Broadway. After performing for several years Matthew decided to cross over to the other side of the table and be more involved in production and producing. He worked for many years as the Director of Entertainment for a Los Angeles based Special Event company and then joined a leading dance competition as a Competition Director. With his strong passion and background in dance it only seemed right for him to join forces with Kids Artistic Revue in 2013. Matthew recently completed the first tour of Rainbow Australia and is looking forward to returning to Australia for KAR’s third season. Matthew developed and hosts the Hollywood Dance Invitational every December. He looks forward to welcoming aspiring dancers to Southern California as they explore career opportunities on the West Coast of the United States. Most recently, Matthew has been promoted to Chief Operations Officer – COO of Kids Artistic Revue. His passion and determination to succeed in the dance industry is contagious and he hopes to inspire the younger generation of dancers to focus on achieving all their personal and professional goals.
