Shawn Hebbeler-Perez brings over a decade of entertainment industry leadership together with executive-level nonprofit development experience.

With more than 12 years in the casting and talent industry, Shawn has served as a Senior Booking Agent, Casting Director, Talent Development Director, and Floor Director (MSNBC), while also performing professionally as an Actor, Singer, and Dancer. A graduate of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City, Shawn toured internationally to 32 countries as a dancer with Disney Live before transitioning into media representation and casting leadership with Feld Entertainment and BESTAgency, where he oversaw theatrical and commercial divisions across Las Vegas and Miami.

His booking and casting credits span major networks, streaming platforms, award shows, and global brands including NBC, Netflix, MTV, HBO, Super Bowl XLIX, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, The Latin Grammys, America’s Got Talent, The Bachelor, The Hunger Games, Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2, The Walking Dead, Nickelodeon, Disney Channel, and music videos for artists such as Lady Gaga, Beyoncé, Ricky Martin, Nicki Minaj, Pitbull, and Demi Lovato.

Today, Shawn serves as Director of Development & Special Projects at St. Joseph Center in California — one of the region’s largest organizations serving individuals and families experiencing homelessness. In this role, he leads major fundraising initiatives, high-level donor strategy, corporate partnerships, and government-funded program support. He works directly alongside city leadership and government contract teams to secure funding that supports housing, mental health services, workforce development, and emergency outreach programs for the unhoused population.

Shawn’s leadership bridges the worlds of performance and purpose. His background in casting and production informs his ability to curate impactful fundraising events, steward influential relationships, and tell compelling stories that move communities to action.

As he continues his work in the arts as a Competition Director with KAR, his passion for dance education and mentorship remains central. He is committed to inspiring the next generation of performers by equipping them with industry knowledge, professionalism, and confidence.
