San Gabriel 3/26 Event Protocols & Restrictions For Attending Studios
In these uncertain times, we are honored to be hosting an event where dancers have the opportunity to shine on stage! Please be aware that the following protocols and restrictions are going to be strictly enforced for the safety and well-being of all studios as well as our team members. Your Director will be reaching out to you prior to your attendance to discuss any details in regards to your scheduled performance time.

GENERAL REMINDERS:
- Our competition’s number ONE priority and ability to host an event for your dancers is solely based on the health and safety of all attendees. Masks are required at all times by any person who enters the venue area. Any guest violating this requirement will be escorted off the premises. Please inform your families of the importance of complying with this rule!
- Due to the strict COVID-19 venue restrictions, NO AUDIENCE MEMBERS WILL BE PERMITTED.
- Live stream feed of all performances will be provided for your families’ viewing pleasure from their phones.
- ALL families must practice social distancing in all areas of the premises. (both inside and outside)
- Only dancers, studio owners, teachers, prop attendants and limited chaperones (for younger dancers needing assistance in dressing rooms) will be allowed in the venue area. A maximum of 10 non-performing staff will be permitted per studio. A maximum of 4 non-performing staff will be allowed on stage at any one time.
- Once your schedule has been set as final, it cannot be changed at the event.
- If any dancers, teachers, chaperones or prop attendants are over temp during check in, they will be given several opportunities to cool off. However, if continually over temp the venue will not permit admittance into the venue and will escort the individual off the premises.

By Attending our event you acknowledge the following:
- I am NOT currently experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms such as dry cough, fever, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, chills, sore throat, or new loss of sense of smell and/or taste.
- I have NOT experienced any COVID-19 symptoms within the last fourteen (14) days.
- No one in my household has experienced COVID-19 symptoms or tested positive for COVID-19 within the last fourteen (14) days.
- I have not been exposed to a person with known or suspected COVID-19 within the last fourteen (14) days.
- Exposure based on CDC guidance means having close contact, less than six (6) feet, for 15 minutes or more, with a person who has tested positive for COVID-19 or has COVID-19 symptoms.
- I have not been exposed to a person with known or suspected COVID-19 within the last fourteen (14) days.
- I have NOT been placed on quarantine restrictions by a medical doctor or healthcare professional in the past fourteen (14) days.
- I have NOT had a positive COVID-19 PCR Test Result within 48-72 Hours of arrival at the venue.

TEACHER WALKTHROUGH & CHECK-IN:
- Studio owners and all teachers please arrive 1 hour before the first performance for a walkthrough of the venue explaining the layout of the area, direction of traffic, dressing rooms, etc.
- Please inform your dancers and parents to arrive no earlier than 30 mins before their first scheduled performance time and remain in vehicles until the venue announces your studio check-in to begin.
- If you have over 30 performers, please arrange for dancers to stagger their arrival times in accordance with the schedule to ensure venue capacity limits are not exceeded.
- The following will be required for every individual entering the venue area:
- Completed KAR/Rainbow waiver
- Completed San Gabriel venue form for dancers & Venue Waiver
- Completed San Gabriel venue form for adults & Venue Waiver (studio owners, teachers, chaperones, prop attendants)
- Contactless temperature check
- Please inform your dancers, teachers, prop attendants and chaperones that their forms and waivers should be in-hand upon check-in.
- Once an individual enters the holding area, they will not be allowed to exit and re-enter.

AFTER PERFORMANCE:
- MC will announce the general award after each performance, and you will receive all of your general awards at the conclusion of your segment from the backstage coordinator.
- We ask that all awards be distributed in the parking lot or off the premises.
- All High Point, Photogenic and Title awards will be shipped to your studio.
- The announcement of High Point awards will be on Sunday, March 28th approximately 1.5 hours after the last performances via Virtual LiveStream. https://dancekar.com/virtual-competition/theater
- Score sheets and judges commentary will be available upon the conclusion of the on Wednesday following the event in your Studio Center.

PARKING LOT REGULATIONS:
- No ez-ups will be allowed in the parking lot.
- All individuals must stay in their vehicles unless they are needed in the theatre, or for the utilization of the restroom.
- There is to be no drinking of alcohol on the premises.
- There is to be no usage of ANY controlled substances on the premises.
- Cars are to leave one parking spot empty between each vehicle. (We have placed delineators in every other spot, please do not relocate them.)
- Campers, RVs, and Toy Haulers are maxed at 2 total within the lot.
- Masks are required AT ALL TIMES by EVERYONE when outside of their vehicle.
- Social distancing must be maintained AT ALL TIMES.
- Groups need to limit their time with each other to the minimum possible while on the premises.
- Dancers should not be practicing their routines in the parking lot.
