Raymon Vincent Ashley
Raymon Ashley is the Vice President of Studio Communications for KAR Productions, where he leads studio engagement and relationship development across the company’s national network of dance studios. In this role, Raymon works closely with studio owners, educators, and industry leaders to strengthen partnerships and ensure that the KAR family of brands continues to provide meaningful experiences for dancers and their communities.
Raymon has been a part of the KAR Productions organization for more than 25 years, making him one of the company’s longest-serving leaders and a trusted voice within the competitive dance industry. His work focuses on fostering strong communication between KAR Productions and studios nationwide, helping guide feedback, support studio growth, and strengthen the long-term relationships that are central to the company’s success.
Before transitioning into leadership, Raymon built a professional career as a performer and educator. He earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from the University of Arizona and performed professionally with companies including Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Ensemble, David Taylor Dance Theatre (now Zikr Dance Ensemble), and the Mark Goodman Tap Company before pursuing opportunities in the commercial dance industry.
Following his performing career, Raymon became a highly respected dance educator, known for his dynamic personality, positive leadership, and ability to inspire dancers of all ages. His experience both on stage and in the classroom continues to shape his approach to leadership, helping bridge the gap between studio owners, dancers, and event producers.
Today, Raymon plays a key role in maintaining the strong sense of community that defines KAR Productions, traveling across the country to connect with studios and support the continued growth of the organization’s events and programs.
Outside of his professional work, Raymon is most proud of his role as a father to his son, Rylan, and remains passionate about watching young dancers grow, evolve, and succeed in the art form he has dedicated his life to.
