Step 2: Fill Out Your Personal Information

Once on the sign-up page, you’ll need to enter the following details:

✅ First Name & Last Name – Make sure this matches the name you use for event registrations.

✅ Cell Phone Number – This should be a number where you can receive event updates.

✅ Email Address – This will be your login email, so use one you check regularly.

✅ Create a Password – Choose a strong password and confirm it.

Step 3: Add Your Dancer’s Information

In this section, you’ll provide details about your dancer to link them to your account.

✅ Dancer’s Affiliation

• Select Studio if your dancer is associated with a dance studio.

• Select Independent if your dancer competes without a studio.

✅ What Competition Did You Attend?

• If your dancer has never attended a KAR competition before, you will need your studio’s QR Code to bypass this section.

• Ask your studio for their Studio QR Code, which they can find in their Studio Center dashboard by clicking the flyer on the right side of the page.

✅ Studio Name

• If your dancer is part of a studio, select the correct studio name from the dropdown list.

✅ Dancer’s Name

• Instead of typing their name manually, select your dancer’s last name with their first initial from the dropdown list.

• Example format: “Smith, J” (for John Smith).

✅ Dancer’s Birth Date

• Use the MM/DD/YYYY format to enter their birth date correctly.

The 2024 KAR Educators Summit in Las Vegas was an exceptional gathering of dance educators, studio owners, and industry professionals from across the nation. Held in the vibrant city of Las Vegas, this summit was a perfect blend of insightful discussions, networking opportunities, and memorable experiences.

The summit featured a packed agenda designed to enhance our collective understanding of the KAR Productions brand rules & regulations, competition best practices, and much more.

• Group Lunches and Dinner: These meals were more than just opportunities to dine together; they were platforms for informal networking and sharing experiences.

• Rules Review: A detailed session reviewing the latest KAR Productions brand rules & regulations, ensuring all attendees are up-to-date and prepared for the upcoming season.

• Acrobatics Expert: A specialized session with an acrobatics expert, providing valuable insights into integrating acrobatic elements safely and effectively into routines.

• Misty Lown Guest Speaker: An inspiring talk by Misty Lown, who shared her wisdom and experiences in the dance industry, leaving everyone motivated and enlightened.

• Group Closing Show at Jabbawockeez at MGM Grand: A spectacular closing show that left everyone in awe and provided a perfect end to the summit.

One of the standout moments was the rules review session, where we delved deep into the nuances of competition regulations. This session was crucial in ensuring that all participating studios are aligned with KAR’s high standards and expectations.

We are thrilled to announce a major update to our registration process for the 2025 season at KAR Productions! Starting this year, any studio that has faithfully attended our competitions for three consecutive seasons and has not cancelled any event registration during that time will no longer be required to pay a deposit when registering*.

At KAR, we deeply value the commitment and loyalty shown by our studio partners over the years. This policy change is our way of saying thank you for being an integral part of the KAR family.
