Special Announcement for our guests joining us at our Pomona, CA Regional June 3-5, 2016. The main parking lot will be through Gate 17. Parking is $10 cash that includes in and out privileges. For your convenience, we have coordinated food vendors to be set up outside of Building 5 as no outside food or drinks are allowed inside the Pomona Fairplex.

If you need to drop off any large props please have your Studio Director pick up a blue “Prop Truck Pass” from our Teacher Check-in booth and use Gate 1. Please do not pull into Gate 1 without the “Prop Truck Pass” as you will not be allowed in.

2016 KAR GRADUATING SENIOR SCHOLARSHIP

KAR is thrilled to announce we will be awarding $500 Scholarships to 16 Graduating Seniors at our 2016 KAR National Finals. If your studio has graduating Seniors that would like to apply, please direct them to the following link to fill out the application.

Eligible applicants must attend one of KAR’s 2016 National Finals. The deadline for completed applications is June 1, 2016.

The “I’m A Dancer Against Cancer” campaign was founded in 2012 to spread awareness and raise donations for cancer-fighting charities. It quickly became a sign of hope and unity in the dance community.

In 2013, the Dancers Against Cancer charity and Circle of Hope Foundation was created to provide financial support to dance educators, dancers and parents impacted by cancer. To date, this charity has proudly raised $500K in donations and has assisted many dancers in need.

The Dancers Against Cancer charity and Circle of Hope Foundation is grateful for the support of the dance community and will continue to make a difference to keep the HOPE alive!
